About the role
We are looking for a part time environmental supervisor to join our team. Working with the environmental Project Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day running of the sample processing. This includes flotation, residue sorting, data basing, maintaining inventories and equipment. As well as the ability to meet daily targets set for processing samples, supporting those carrying out the processing and the implementation of safe working practices will be essential.
Aboutyou
Good communication skills and team working are crucial for this role. We are looking for someone with extensive experience of sample processing and who understands the complexities that can arise when dealing with archaeological samples. Good IT skills, especially in Excel, are necessary. A specialism in palaeoenvironmental archaeology and demonstrable experience of report writing will be beneficial.
