About your role:
We’re looking for skilled Electricians to join our Field Engineering team, ensuring customers receive exceptional service exactly when they need it. You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering same‑day fixes and installing electric vehicle charge points, delivering safe, high‑quality electrical work in customers’ homes—from fault finding and installations to full rewires and EV charge point installations. A minimum of two years as a qualified electrician is required;

EV installation experience is a bonus, with training provided if required.

Base Salary: £41,389 with uncapped OTE – £51,389 is a realistic expectation through our comprehensive field reward scheme.

• City & Guilds 2365 Parts 1 & 2 (or equivalent), culminating in a Level 3 Technical Certificate including the National Electrotechnical Training (NET) AM2 certificate
• Demonstrable experience working in the electrical industry
• Current City & Guilds 2382 – B.S. 7671 IET Wiring Regulations certificate
• City and Guilds 2391.52 (or equivalent) highly desirable
• City & Guilds 2921/2919 EV charging desirable

Your customer service excellence and problem‑solving abilities will enable you to diagnose issues efficiently, work safely to ensure first‑time fixes, and promote British Gas products and services through professional advice and expertise.
