About the role
As a Lining Technician, you'll work from one of our custom-equipped Patching Vans, travelling to a range of sites across the UK - including commercial, residential, industrial, rail, road and utility settings.
You'll carry out repairs on underground pipe systems using specialist equipment, check the condition of pipes, analyse survey results and produce clear, accurate reports. At times, you'll work alongside our Jetting Units and help ensure that all site activity is carried out safely, efficiently and within agreed time frames.
This is a full-time, permanent role with ongoing opportunities to develop your skills.
As a Lining Technician you will
Use patching rigs, lining kits and specialist tools to carry out repairs
Assess pipeline condition using survey footage and diagnostic results
Write accurate reports on completed works and recommendations
Follow all health and safety procedures on site
Work with Jetting Units when required to support the jobKeep equipment maintained and ensure job records are completed
About you
You'll be a practical, motivated person who enjoys hands-on work and learning new skills. A full UK driving licence is essential.
You don't need drainage experience to be considered - if you've worked in construction, utilities, labouring, engineering, or any hands-on technical role, those skills transfer well. What matters most is reliability, good problem-solving skills and a willingness to get stuck in.
Experience with patching rigs, lining equipment or cutting tools is helpful but not essential. Certifications such as NRSWA Streetworks, Water Hygiene, Banks person training, High-Pressure Jetting and Confined Space Entry are beneficial, but training can be provided for the right person.
Some weekend and night work is included, so flexibility is important.
