Electrician

Position: Electrician (Permanent)
Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.

Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Electrician to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.

We are looking for an Electrician who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

The Electrician, will be responsible for:

* Carry out routine PPM tasks and planned maintenance in line with scheduled dates.

* Perform reactive repairs and Electrical Installation work as required.

* Ensure all documentation for tasks is completed correctly and all reactive jobs are recorded on the CAFM system.

* Assist with general building maintenance activities when required.

* Work to high standards in line with current company policies and procedures, reporting any deficiencies in systems of work or equipment that may affect service delivery, health and safety, or the environment.

To be successful for this Electrician role you must have:

* Appropriate up‑to‑date training including City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent.

* 17th/18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.

* Experience using a range of maintenance equipment.

* IPAF 3A & 3B and basic mechanical knowledge desirable but not essential.

* Good knowledge of building statutory compliance.

* Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
