Salary/Wage Range or Industry Benchmark: 19 - 20 GBP Hourly GBP 19.00 20.00 HOUR

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworker to join a specialist two-person team delivering pond and water feature construction projects across the UK. This is an ongoing temporary role offering regular work, paid travel time, accommodation when working away, and the opportunity to be involved in unique landscaping and construction projects. The role involves travelling to sites across the UK, typically working away Monday to Friday and returning home didates must be comfortable staying away during the week and working outdoors in a hands-on construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Accept and organise deliveries of materials, tools, and equipment Set out work areas and build projects from technical drawings Carry out excavations using hand tools and plant machinery Undertake general groundworks and site preparation Install pond liners and associated construction components Place stone, rock, and boulder features as part of the final build Install and commission filtration systems and equipment Pour concrete footings and bases as required Complete slabbing, landscaping, and finishing works Operate site equipment including diggers, dumpers, hole borers, and laser levels Work safely and effectively as part of a two-person team Requirements:
Previous groundworks, landscaping, or construction experience Ability to read and work from technical drawings Experience driving diggers and dumpers Experience operating plant and site equipment is advantageous Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away Monday to Friday To hold a full UK driving licence Own tools Benefits: £20 per hour Company van and fuel card Paid driving time £25 per night food allowance when working away Accommodation provided with private room, kitchen facilities, and parking Company vehicle available for site travel Ongoing temporary work with projects typically lasting several weeks Opportunity to develop specialist skills within a niche construction sector If you're interetsed in this Groundworker role, please apply online or call Alex on
