• Conduct end‑point assessments within your main areas of competence.
• Ensure timely completion of all required assessment follow‑up and documentation within the EPA system, in line with quality assurance requirements and service level agreements.
• Attend and contribute to standardisation events for end‑point assessment.
• Manage your own caseload of apprentices through their end‑point assessment.
• Provide assessment feedback in accordance with Construction EPA Company quality requirements and within SLA.
• Complete required CPD in accordance with Construction EPA Company regulator requirements.
• Complete training as required to maintain your competence.

• Hold a recognised assessing qualification such as an A1.
• Relevant occupational expertise in plumbing and domestic heating, gained through hands‑on experience.
• Hold a recognised workplace assessment qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and Domestic Heating). The list of approved qualifications is published at
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Able to travel as necessary to fulfil the duties of the post.
