Are you an experienced Carpenter looking for your next contract? Regional Recruitment are recruiting for experienced Carpenters to join a major commercial‑to‑residential conversion project in Leicester. This role requires skilled tradespeople with their own tools who can work independently on refurbishment and enabling works within a busy construction environment.

Essential

• Valid CSCS Card
• Own tools
• Previous commercial carpentry experience
• Experience working on refurbishment projects

Desirable

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 Carpentry & Joinery
• PASMA
• IPAF
• First Aid at Work

• Carry out first and second fix carpentry as required.
• Install temporary works.
• Complete making good works.
• Assist with refurbishment activities.
• Read and work from drawings where required.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety requirements.
• Work independently and within the wider site team.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping.
• Undertake any additional carpentry duties as instructed.

As a Carpenter you will also be expected to:

• Hold a valid CSCS Card.
• Supply your own tools.
• Have commercial refurbishment experience.
• Work safely and efficiently.
• Be reliable and punctual.

• Comply with all employment legislation and relevant codes of good practice.
• Take reasonable care for their own health and safety and that of others in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and associated legislation.
• Co‑operate fully with the company and colleagues to ensure statutory and safety requirements are always met.
