HGV Technician - Night Shift

Hourly rate of £25 per hour + Company Bonus Scheme

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated HGV Technician to join our busy commercial vehicle workshop in Leicestershire on our night shift.

You will be responsible for:

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing HGVs, trailers and commercial vehicles
• Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults
• Carrying out routine inspections, PMIs and MOT preparation work
• Completing all paperwork accurately and efficiently
• Working to high standards of safety and workmanship
• Supporting workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction targets
• Working night shift hours as part of our commercial vehicle workshop team

• Previous experience as an HGV or Commercial Vehicle Technician
• Relevant industry qualifications such as Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
• IRTEC accreditation would be advantageous
• Any additional trade qualifications, manufacturer training or specialist certifications would be beneficial
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Full UK driving licence essential
• HGV licence an advantage but not essential
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Hourly rate of £25 per hour
