- NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing, Heating or Mechanical Services, or equivalent
- ACS Gas qualifications and current Gas Safe registration
- Experience installing Air Source Heat Pumps and/or Ground Source Heat Pumps
- Strong knowledge of domestic and commercial heating systems
- Understanding of plumbing, pipework, hydraulic systems and mechanical installations
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, installation specifications and manufacturer instructions
- Experience using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations and industry standards
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Strong communication skills with customers, suppliers and site teams
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel and work on projects across the UK
- F-Gas qualification desirable
- Previous experience leading installation teams highly desirable
- Renewable heating industry experience advantageous

- Ground Source Heat Pump installation experience

- Commissioning experience
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
- Experience with commercial heating systems
- Manufacturer-specific heat pump training
- Lead the installation of Air Source and Ground Source Heat Pump systems
- Carry out site surveys and assess installation requirements
- Install associated pipework, fittings, controls and mechanical components
- Prepare installation areas and coordinate works on site
- Work alongside qualified electrical professionals to complete system connections
- Commission heat pump systems and ensure efficient operation
- Complete installation reports and system documentation
- Diagnose basic faults and support maintenance activities
- Liaise with project managers, suppliers and customers throughout installations
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time and to the required quality standards
- Support and mentor installation team members
- Travel to project locations across the UK as required
