About the Role
Valoris Group are representing a national client who are delivering a high-profile project across a large commercial retail store chain throughout the UK. We are looking for a skilled Commercial Electrician to join the team on a 12-month contract.
The role will involve integrating a backup battery system into existing power supplies across multiple retail sites, ensuring resilience and reliability of electrical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Electrical installation and modification works on large commercial retail sites.
- Safely splice in and connect backup battery systems to existing supply.
- Adhere to all current wiring regulations, H&S procedures and compliance standards.
- Liaise with project teams and site management to complete works to schedule.
- Maintain accurate job records and reporting.
- Qualified Commercial Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- ECS/CSCS card.
- Proven background working on large commercial/retail sites.
- Experience with backup/battery integration preferred.
- Flexibility to travel nationwide.
- Full UK driving licence.
Duration: 12 months
Competitive day rate (to be discussed at application stage)
