Senior Industrial Door Engineer – Leicester
£35,000-£45,000 + Overtime + On-Call Bonus
An established industrial door specialist is seeking an experienced Senior Industrial Door Engineer to support installations, servicing and repairs across Leicester and Leicestershire.
This is a senior position requiring a minimum of five years’ experience within the industrial door industry.
Responsibilities- Install, service and repair industrial doors and associated equipment
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
- Complete electrical work safely and accurately
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance
- Read technical drawings and electrical schematics
- Complete electronic job sheets and service reports
- Identify and accurately report additional works
- Support and guide other engineers on-site
- Work safely at height and handle heavy equipment
- Minimum five years’ industrial door experience
- Strong electrical knowledge and fault-finding ability
- Experience installing, servicing and repairing industrial doors
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Comfortable working independently and leading work on-site
- Good communication, measurement and basic IT skills
- Full UK driving licence
- CSCS, IPAF and DBS certificates are desirable
- Basic salary of £35,000-£45,000
- Enhanced overtime rates
- On-call and callout payments

- Free on-site gym
- Regular overtime and occasional lodging-away work
Most work is based across Leicester and Leicestershire, with occasional travel to projects further afield.
