Are you an experienced Prep Technician looking for your next opportunity? We are currently recruiting for a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join a professional and busy workshop in Hinckley. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced technician who takes pride in producing high-quality work and preparing vehicles to the highest standards.

As a Prep Technician, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for retail and customer handover, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to the required quality and safety standards.

• Carry out vehicle preparation to a high standard.
• Complete servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs.
• Carry out vehicle health checks and identify any additional work required.
• Prepare vehicles for retail and customer handover.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with manufacturer and company standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Work efficiently to meet workshop deadlines while maintaining excellent quality.

• Minimum Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification.
• MOT Tester qualification desirable

• At least 4 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician or Prep Technician.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and fault‑finding skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.

• Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
• 1 in 3 Saturdays: 8:00am - 12:00pm

• £32,000 - £38,000 per annum
