Electrician

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Qualified Electrician with experience working on domestic heating and hot water systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrical engineer looking for a stable, Monday-to-Friday role with a company vehicle, excellent benefits and ongoing professional development.

The Role

You will be responsible for attending domestic and commercial properties across the region, carrying out electrical testing, inspections and remedial works, as well as wiring and installing new heating systems.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out EICRs following assessment of electrical installations within properties.

* Undertake periodic testing and electrical installation work for new heating systems.

* Work across a variety of domestic and commercial properties throughout the region.

* Complete remedial electrical works to the required standards.

* Provide a professional and friendly service to clients and tenants.

* Communicate work updates and progress effectively.

* Complete required paperwork and job documentation both electronically and manually.

* Ensure all Health & Safety requirements and relevant legislation are followed, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH procedures.

* Follow stock ordering and auditing procedures to ensure the correct parts and materials are available for each job.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

* A qualified electrician/electrical engineer.

* Experienced in domestic heating and hot water systems.

* Confident carrying out electrical testing, inspection and remedial works.

* Customer-focused with a friendly and professional approach.

* Able to work independently and manage jobs effectively.

* Organised, reliable and able to complete accurate documentation.

* Committed to maintaining high standards of Health & Safety and workmanship.
