LOCATION:

SALARY: £45,000
No on call rota
Join a Leading Engineering Team with Long-Term Stability Workchain is recruiting for a highly skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join a well-established engineering business on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer looking for a stable, field-based role with strong professional support, ongoing work, and genuine earning potential.
You’ll be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs, fault-finding and planned maintenance on commercial heating and boiler systems across Derbyshire and the surrounding regions.
What You’ll Be Doing- Carry out service, repair and maintenance on a range of commercial heating and boiler systems
- Diagnose faults quickly and effectively, ensuring minimal downtime for customers
- Maintain accurate job records and documentation
- Deliver professional customer service, offering advice and technical guidance where required
- Ensure all work complies with relevant legislation, safety standards, and company procedures
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through high-quality service
- Work as part of a supportive field engineering team
- Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer
- Strong technical knowledge of boilers, pumps, burners and related heating systems
- Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding ability
- Confident communicator with a customer-focused approach
- Relevant qualifications including:
CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1
Commercial Gas qualifications (essential) - Full UK Driving Licence
- Hours & Package Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm1 in 4 Saturday rota
- Overtime available during busy periods
