Intern Project Control​/Accounting

Job Overview

This internship supports project control and accounting activities for Airbus space programmes (Solar Arrays & Launchers). The intern will work closely with project controllers and accounting staff to manage financial data, reporting, and audit readiness.

• Review project revenue and cost planning.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles and performance analysis.
• Maintain and monitor project budgets, prepare forecasts and variance analysis.
• Generate timely project financial reports, including cost tracking and progress reporting.
• Assist with forecasting and monthly closing activities.
• Analyze project KPIs, identify deviations using Power BI, and help implement corrective actions.
• Act as interface between procurement and finance: verify purchase orders, validate supplier invoices, prepare invoice requests to customers, and follow up customer payments.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives.

• Current Bachelor or Master student in Finance (including accounting).
• Proactive, accurate and reliable when handling figures.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Experience with Power BI and/or SAP is a plus.
• Commit to confidentiality and data protection.

• Residency in the Netherlands.
• VOG and background screening for security clearance.
• Internship must be part of the curriculum; voluntary internships not accepted.
