An afternoon full of board games, tall tales, even more jokes, and of course, delicious soup!
The Cooking Days are organized weekly from different locations and last approximately 2–3 hours. Volunteers should arrive at the designated starting time at the community center or daycare location. Upon arrival, volunteers will be warmly welcomed and briefed on the program. Volunteers will help prepare soup together with seniors, play games, and socialize with them through conversation. All details of each activity will be provided a few days beforehand.
CommitmentWeekly commitment of approximately 2–3 hours.
QualificationsEnthusiastic, friendly, able to work with elderly participants. Willingness to follow safety and hygiene guidelines.
