As a Senior Account Manager, you’ll take full ownership of client relationships within your assigned territory. You’ll be responsible for managing ongoing projects, ensuring client satisfaction, and identifying opportunities to expand accounts through upselling and cross‑selling. You’ll work closely with our business development, scientific, and operations teams to deliver a seamless client experience, from quote preparation to project delivery. In addition to managing existing accounts, you’ll actively prospect within your territory to identify new clients and build long‑term partnerships that support our scientific service growth.
Responsibilities   Take full ownership of client relationships within your assigned territory.
Manage ongoing projects, ensure client satisfaction, and identify opportunities to expand accounts through upselling and cross‑selling.
Collaborate closely with business development, scientific, and operations teams to deliver a seamless client experience from quote preparation to project delivery.
Prospect within your territory to identify new clients and build long‑term partnerships that support scientific service growth.
Manage existing accounts, actively seek new opportunities, and ensure alignment with internal teams.
Qualifications   Completed BSc or MSc degree, preferably in a bioscience, biotechnology, biology or medical disciplines.
Minimum 3+ years of experience in external account management or a similar client‑facing commercial role.
Familiarity with organizations in the pharma, food ingredients and biotech market.
Entrepreneurial mindset; own and grow client relationships within an assigned territory by managing active accounts, identifying new opportunities and ensuring alignment with internal teams.
Based in the Netherlands.
Salary and secondary benefits are dependent on your qualifications and experience.
