Business Development Manager; FTE initially

Position: Business Development Manager (0,8 - 1,0 FTE) initially for 6 months
A unique training facility is looking for an energetic Business Development Manager to join our team responsible for the growth of our business. Initially, this position will be for a period of 6 months with the option to extend. You can work in a dynamic environment at the heart of the Leiden Bio Science Park in a company that provides training and consultancy to companies in the Netherlands and abroad.

Your main responsibility is ensuring Biotech Training Facility's growth and success by managing accounts, partners, suppliers, and projects and identifying new business opportunities, including international partnerships.
Your main responsibilities   Identify & generate new business opportunities, including international business
Work from our CRM system Pipedrive
Account management
Work on strategic projects to expand our business
External relation management (e.g., partners, suppliers)
Represent Biotech Training Facility in (external) events and meetings
Marketing and communication
Project Management related tasks
Qualifications  You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a business development or equivalent role. You are a self-starter and know how to get the information you need.
Minimum Bachelor of (Applied) Science

Working experience in Biopharma/Life Sciences
Pro‑active and self‑starting
Good communication skills
Multi‑tasker
Networker
Negotiation skills
Team worker
Proficient in the English language and preferably also Dutch language
A driving licence is an advantage
