The Administrative Support Assistant is a part time (10-15 hours per week), hybrid role located in Leland, NC, supporting the daily operations of Carolina Marketing Company, Inc. This role includes answering and directing phone calls, greeting visitors, and providing courteous front and back‑office support. The Office Assistant will manage routine clerical tasks such as data entry, ad copy assistance for existing CMC clients, filing, mail handling, and organizing documents and records, errands, and more.
Responsibilities also include scheduling appointments and meetings, maintaining office supplies, and assisting team members with administrative needs. The role requires operating standard office equipment, coordinating basic office logistics, and helping ensure a professional, efficient, and well‑organized work environment.
- Strong Phone Etiquette and Communication skills to interact professionally with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Experience with Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills, including scheduling, filing, data entry, and document management.
- Ability to use Office Equipment such as multi‑line phones, printers, copiers, scanners, and basic computer applications.
- Proficiency with office productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office or Google Workspace) and basic email and calendar tools.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in an on‑site collaborative office environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or experience in office administration is beneficial.
- Familiarity with publishing, advertising, or marketing environments is a plus but not required.
