Boiler Operator

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee boiler operations including gauge checking system to prevent malfunctions
• Conduct regular testing of pressure, chemical and water levels to ensure safe operation
• Identify and fix issues promptly to ensure smooth production processes
• Operate kiln to dry poles according to company specification
• Perform minor mechanical maintenance on equipment
• Operate loader as needed
• Work cooperatively with management and co-workers to achieve all safety, quality and production goals set for the work environment
• Other work‑related duties as required

• Knowledge of boiler systems and mechanical components
• Ability to monitor and read gauges
• Basic computer knowledge including applications
• Strong problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Willingness to be hands‑on with physical production
• Ability to work in all outside weather conditions (wet, hot, cold)
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs
