Lead Installer
Weikle’s Hometown Heating & Air is excited to add another Experienced HVAC Service Technician to our team. We are a family-owned business that values supporting our employees every day. Duties and Responsibilities- Perform installations and replacements of HVAC systems in residential and light commercial buildings.
- Oversee and ensure the quality of work done by installation technicians.
- Conduct site evaluations to ensure compatibility of equipment and troubleshoot issues.
- Maintain responsibility for the accuracy of installation and the adherence to safety protocols.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manage equipment and inventory for projects.
- Provide training and support to installation technicians to enhance their skills.
- Work closely with the office staff to ensure timely completion of necessary paperwork and keep proper records.
- Assess and improve operational procedures to further increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer queries and concerns with utmost professionalism and provide detailed and clear communication.
- Participate in on-call rotation as needed, providing responsive service during emergencies.
- Minimum of 5 years of HVAC Install experience.
- Must hold a current Journeyman andEPA license.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive drug screening test prior to employment.
- Proven proficiency in diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems, with an expert understanding of refrigerant, electrical, controls, and mechanical issues.
- Ability to work independently with excellent time management skills to meet schedules and work targets.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record required.
- Must demonstrate a good attitude and be a team player.
- Capable of effectively managing a company truck inventory.
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation for emergency services.
- Strong communication and coordination skills to work closely with both office staff and clients.
