Yard Associate

Yard Associate – Join our team at Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. We are the customer’s first choice in the equipment rental industry.

Porter / Yard Worker. The Yard Associate is responsible for stationing and retrieving equipment on location’s property, maintaining a written maintenance schedule, possibly servicing equipment, and inspecting equipment before and after rental.

• Work in a challenging, fast‑paced environment where no day is the same.
• Advance into mechanical, driver or customer service roles.
• Work with an incredible team in a safety‑focused culture.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred.
• Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred.

• Effective communication with customers (written and oral).
• Basic math skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• General mechanical aptitude.
• Safety focus.
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs.

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors or outdoors as required by the job. Reasonable accommodations may be made.
