IT Asset Management Analyst – NTT DATA North America

Job SummaryThe IT Asset Management Analyst provides programmatic management of IT hardware, software, and licenses. This role maintains accurate asset records, procures IT equipment, collaborates with vendors, and produces timely reports for program management. The Analyst supports end‑to‑end asset lifecycle activities, manages leased assets, and resolves licensing anomalies while ensuring compliance with company policies.
Responsibilities- Maintain focus on the impact of work when completing tickets and assigned inventory and asset management tasks.
- Understand and comply with contractual guidelines with suppliers, maintaining a strong customer focus.
- Conduct data entry and asset management activities.
- Review and maintain license assignment for software installations.
- Assist Service Desk with onboarding of accounts.
- Handle shipping, receiving, tracking orders, and ordering IT stocked equipment.
- Produce asset inventory, stock equipment inventory, license inventory, and weekly reports to program management.
- Coordinate with third‑party shipping vendors (USPS, Fed Ex, UPS).
- Create new Configuration Item (CI) assets, including asset tagging and recording in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Maintain and organize a wide range of technology‑based customer assets in a warehouse.
- Load, secure, unload, and transport warehouse items using company delivery van.
- Ensure proper flow of enterprise assets into and out of the warehouse.
- Operate warehouse equipment (handcarts, two‑wheel dollies, etc.) safely.
- Maintain accurate CMDB entries throughout the asset lifecycle.
- Contribute to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as directed.
- Document tickets thoroughly to meet SLRs.
- Lift up to 30 pounds overhead consistently.
- Safely operate forklifts, handcarts, flatbed dollies, and cargo van as needed.
- Minimum 1 year of experience with asset management and shipping/receiving.
- Minimum 1 year of experience with logistical IT support (scheduling, ordering parts, equipment, and tracking).
- Experience processing new assets, IMACS, retirements, and disposals.
- US Citizenship.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to multi‑task and prioritize.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Collaborative team player.
