Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday 6:00PM - 2:30AM ($20/hr)

The Inventory Control Clerk Floater will perform inventory control clerk responsibilities across multiple Illinois facilities, fill schedule gaps, and rotate among buildings.

• Conduct physical counts to maintain accurate inventory.
• Count and reconcile randomly chosen or selected part numbers and/or locations daily.
• Accurately input inventory control data to ensure inventory integrity.
• Complete necessary documentation thoroughly, accurately, and on-time.
• Trace history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommend remedial actions.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager.
• Spend 80% or more of workday performing inventory-related activities in warehouse using RF Gun or Tablet; 20% or less working at computer terminal.
• Clerks required to travel to and assist at other facilities as needed.

• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ensure compliance to inventory processes and procedures and contractual obligations.
• Physically count articles or products on shelves, racks, pallets.
• Utilize computer terminal to account for inventory issues, returns, documentation.

• Minimum 1-3 months related experience and/or training in Inventory Control.
• Minimum 1-3 months related experience and/or training in warehouse environment.
• Prior experience operating material handling equipment required; order selector, cherry picker/high lift experience preferred; willingness to be certified and use required.
• Experience using WMS software a plus (Synapse preferred).
• PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access Database.

• Reliable transportation.
• Working cell phone to receive daily work assignment.
• Ability to start at any RJW Illinois locations upon notification.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals.
• Read and write email.
• Physically count articles or products on shelves, racks, pallets.
• Forklift certification a plus.
