Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday 6:00PM - 2:30AM ($20/hr)

The Inventory Control Clerk Floater will perform inventory control clerk responsibilities across multiple Illinois facilities, fill schedule gaps, and rotate among buildings.
Duties & Responsibilities- Conduct physical counts to maintain accurate inventory.
- Count and reconcile randomly chosen or selected part numbers and/or locations daily.
- Accurately input inventory control data to ensure inventory integrity.
- Complete necessary documentation thoroughly, accurately, and on-time.
- Trace history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommend remedial actions.
- Other tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager.
- Spend 80% or more of workday performing inventory-related activities in warehouse using RF Gun or Tablet; 20% or less working at computer terminal.
- Clerks required to travel to and assist at other facilities as needed.
- Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals.
- Write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ensure compliance to inventory processes and procedures and contractual obligations.
- Physically count articles or products on shelves, racks, pallets.
- Utilize computer terminal to account for inventory issues, returns, documentation.
- Minimum 1-3 months related experience and/or training in Inventory Control.
- Minimum 1-3 months related experience and/or training in warehouse environment.
- Prior experience operating material handling equipment required; order selector, cherry picker/high lift experience preferred; willingness to be certified and use required.
- Experience using WMS software a plus (Synapse preferred).
- PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access Database.
- Reliable transportation.
- Working cell phone to receive daily work assignment.
- Ability to start at any RJW Illinois locations upon notification.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals.
- Read and write email.
- Physically count articles or products on shelves, racks, pallets.
- Forklift certification a plus.
