Join RJW Logistics Group as a Cross Dock Lead 2nd Shift
. This role is integral to our warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, staging, and dispatch of goods.
Shift
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 4:00 pm – 12:30 am
Pay: $22.00 per hour

Maintain orderly warehouse stacking, oversee proper staging of shipments, and ensure material handlers operate forklifts and walkie‑talkies safely. This position reports to the shift supervisor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Receive, unload, move, and tag incoming parts and equipment.
- Use WMS, QMS, and lean warehousing principles; operate material handling equipment and RF scanners.
- Pull and stage parts for production and handle requisitions for shortages.
- Package inventory and purchased items for shipment.
- Comply with company safety policies while using lifting devices and maintaining cleanliness.
- Learn day‑to‑day warehouse operations.
- Verify orders for completeness and accuracy.
- Pick customer orders efficiently to minimize shipping costs and ensure product safety.
- Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
- Act with urgency, accountability, and limited supervision.
- Operate handheld RF equipment and use computers efficiently.
- Work effectively as part of a team and lead when necessary.
- Read, write, and understand English.
- Maintain attention to detail and quality standards.
- Communicate clearly and resolve problems.
- Be flexible for overtime and cross‑shift coverage.
- Apply PC skills where useful.
- Operate sit‑down forklifts and walkies.
- Build pallets and break down stock for independent orders.
- Execute cross docking freight processes.
- Adapt to a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
- 2–4 years’ experience in a warehouse environment.
- Stable work and attendance record.
- Proficiency in computer systems, including internet, word processing, and spreadsheets.
- Strong mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, ratios, percentages, and basic graph interpretation.
- Problem‑solving ability, root‑cause analysis, and corrective action determination.
- Strong communication, reading, writing, and speaking skills in English.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Warehousing certifications are a plus.
- Occasional lifting or moving up to 60 pounds.
- Standing on foot for full shift (8 hours).
- Able to work more than 8 continuous hours when required.
- In sound physical health with a physician’s clearance and no controlled‑substance use.
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and moderate noise levels.
All employees, except those under a written individual employment or labor agreement, are not employed for any fixed term and are employed at the will of the Company for an indefinite period. The Company reserves the right to terminate employment at any time for any reason, with or without cause.
