Typical Day & Core Responsibilities
  • Supervise subordinate NEXCOM Hospitality Group staff responsible for front‑desk operations.
  • Keep management, chain of command, and in‑chain of command abreast of situations requiring corrective action.
  • Communicate with Navy Lodge personnel and the chain of command.
  • Create schedules, assign work tasks, and oversee Guest Service Representatives.
  • Train associates on Navy Lodge systems and operating procedures.
  • Assist with recruitment efforts, including creating job postings and conducting interviews.
  • Follow all local safety regulations and inform the supervisor of hazardous conditions.
  • Reconcile daily transactions of all accounts, ensuring complete balance reconciliation.
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience in administrative, professional, investigative, or other responsible work demonstrating knowledge of business practices and administrative processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to exercise mature judgment.
  • Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to perform job duties.
  • Must pass a pre‑employment criminal background check.
  • 1 year of academic study above high school in hotel, lodging, or hospitality may substitute 6 months of experience when the study included at least 6 semester hours related to the specialized field.
  • One year of responsible experience in administrative, supervisory, or technical work that demonstrates knowledge of Navy Lodge front‑of‑house operations or a similar guest‑services environment.
