Position: Inventory Management Specialist with Security Clearance
Duties Help
* Maintains accountability for medical and non-medical equipment using the Defense Medical Logistics, Standard Support (DMLSS) system, Logi Cole, and related logistics databases.
* Conducts annual inventories and periodic spot checks to verify equipment location, condition, and security.
* Prepares purchase requests and procurement packages for routine and specialized equipment needs.
* Ensures equipment transactions are accurate and timely.
* Uses government vehicles (GOVs) and material-handling equipment to support equipment movement and disposal operations.
* Provide guidance on work and administrative matters.
* Serve as primary point of contact for inventories and disposals and schedules inspections, property transfers, and appointments. Requirements Help Conditions of employment
* Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
* This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
* This position may be designated "Mission Essential." In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
* A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
* One year trial/probationary period may be required.
* Employees assigned to a medical treatment facility are required to be screened for applicable immunizations or pre-existing immunity based on occupational risk, regardless of job series.
* This position is subject to screening and update of required immunizations unless exempted for medical or administrative reasons in accordance with DHA Regulation.
