Accounting Admin

Lenexa, KS | Fully Onsite Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire | up to $28ph.

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnered with a construction company seeking a detail-oriented and versatile Administrative & Accounting Coordinator to support daily business operations across accounting, administrative, and HR functions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounting & Finance Support
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, coding, and reconciliations
  • Assist with close-end activities and maintain accurate financial records
  • Track expenses, purchase orders, and vendor payments
  • Support budgeting processes and reporting as needed
  • Administrative Support
  • Provide general administrative support to leadership and office staff
  • Manage office supplies, vendor coordination, and facility-related needs
  • Assist with scheduling, meeting coordination, and internal communications
  • Maintain organized filing systems (electronic and physical)
  • HR Support
  • Assist with onboarding and new hire documentation
  • Maintain employee records and ensure accurate data entry in HR systems
  • Support benefits administration and employee inquiries
  • Coordinate interviews and assist with recruiting logistics
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and documentation standards
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in a blended accounting/admin/HR support role
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting practices (AP/AR, reconciliations)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); ERP or accounting software experience preferred
  • Experience supporting HR functions such as onboarding, recordkeeping, or recruiting coordination
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Pay Details: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
