Associate Accountant.

Monday - Friday. Requirement:
In office. Pay Range: $24.00 per hour to $28.00 per hour. Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available.
The Accounting Associate will uphold the vision of the Financial Division to ensure service-oriented customer relationship management and efficient financial operations.
Key Responsibilities- Balancing daily and month-end accounts receivable to general ledger balances
- Investigating outstanding invoices, making collection calls, negotiating payment terms, and processing liens for collections
- Entering data into accounts receivable general ledger accounts
- Assisting the financial department with various administrative tasks
- Performing other duties as assigned
- In charge of the weekly closing process
- Reconciling warehouse inventory
- Verifying cash deposits
- Working with Regional Controllers and Accountants to research and resolve ledger discrepancies
- Maintaining books and making corrective journal entries
- Acting as liaison between Field Operations & Accounting, banks, and third‑party banking vendors
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1‑3 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting, or equivalent education with the ability to demonstrate an understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Quick Books
- Ability to analyze information and resolve issues
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail, communication skills, data‑entry skills, and math skills
