We are seeking a Sales Support Coordinator to expand our current team. Sales Support Coordinators are responsible for supporting sales during the quoting process, managing the order process and assisting project management and accounting throughout the final stages of each order and project. This position reports to the Director of Order Management & Sales Support.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities- Process orders daily, including checking coding and making sure all necessary documents have been received and the order has been released by necessary internal departments.
- Assist sales and design during the quoting process with quote entry into the ERP system.
- Work with project management to coordinate project schedules before orders are placed as well as if schedule changes need to be made after order placement.
- Answer any questions or clarifications from vendors in a timely fashion, reaching out to other departments if needed to resolve issues.
- Reconcile all vendor acknowledgements by checking for any discrepancies between our purchase order and the acknowledgement and ensure resolution is reached on any issues identified.
- Research any questions from accounting that may arise as they receive vendor invoices in a timely fashion.
- Consistently review reports and proactively follow up with vendors and internal departments to ensure orders are moving through the process.
- Provide status updates to sales and/or customers as requested.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Customer Service experience.
- Previous Furniture Dealership experience preferred.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision once trained.
- Must be highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
- Demonstrate good judgment in investigating facts and solving problems.
- Able to effectively communicate with many different internal departments and outside vendors.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to follow a structured sales process and apply best practices.
- Reliable transportation to and from Circadia.
- A successful candidate must pass a drug screening and background check.
