PCG is seeking a qualified Administrative Assistant to support the Risk & Insurance department located at our corporate headquarters in Lenexa, KS. The Administrative Assistant in the Risk & Insurance Department provides essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the department. This role involves coordinating schedules and meetings, managing documentation, and assisting with claims management support functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meeting Coordination:
    Schedule and coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes during risk management meetings.
  • Manage departmental calendars along with the Senior Manager, Risk & Insurance and Manager, Risk & Insurance Claims.
  • Communication:
    Serve as a point of contact for internal and external communications related to Risk & Insurance.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive claims information.
  • Documentation Management:
    Maintain and organize physical and digital risk management documents, including renewal and policy data, claims information, and other records.
  • Maintain internal web-based communication platforms (intranet, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Report Preparation:
    Assist in the preparation of risk assessment reports and training presentations.
  • Claims Management Support:
    Assist Risk & Insurance team, Corporate and field operations with locating occupational medical clinics in our network to care for injured workers.
  • Vendor Coordination:
    Liaise with insurance companies, brokers, claim administrators, and other vendors as needed.
  • General Administrative Tasks:
    Perform general office duties such as filing, processing invoices and expense reports, photocopying, and ordering office supplies.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Basic Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor'sdegree preferred.
  • Previous administrative experience, preferably in a construction or risk management setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
