Position OverviewWe're seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to drive business development and expand our presence in courts and judicial systems throughout the Upper Midwest and Great Lakes region. This role will be instrumental in helping court administrators modernize their financial operations, demonstrating the compelling ROI of digital disbursements, and building long-term relationships with key decision-makers in the judicial sector.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting court systems throughout your assigned territory
- Build and maintain relationships with court administrators, clerks of court, finance directors, and judicial leadership
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and implementation
- Conduct on-site presentations and needs assessments, demonstrating how GOVFUNDS reduces administrative burden and enhances security
- Articulate the value proposition across multiple use cases: child support, unclaimed funds, per diem programs, bond disbursements, juror payments, restitution, and more
- Collaborate with implementation specialists to ensure smooth transitions with minimal court disruption
- Track pipeline activity and provide regular reporting on sales metrics
- Represent GOVFUNDS at regional judicial conferences and trade shows
- 5+ years of B2G sales experience, preferably in fintech, payments, SaaS, or court/judicial technology solutions
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in complex government sales environments
- Experience selling into courts, judicial systems, or related government agencies strongly preferred
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills with ability to navigate government procurement processes
- Strong understanding of how to articulate ROI and demonstrate measurable cost savings
- Comfortable with regional travel (up to 50%)
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities
- Understanding of payment processing, disbursements, court operations, or judicial finance a plus
- Competitive base salary ($85,000-$105,000) based on experience
