- Membrane Switch, Roll Label, Sign, and Textile decorating markets.
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) drives sales performance, market expansion, and strategic growth objectives for the Textile Business Unit within the West region. This role provides leadership to inside and outside sales teams, establishes measurable sales objectives, and ensures alignment with company‑wide initiatives. The RSM actively supports customer acquisition, account development, and the execution of sales and marketing programs. Preferably the candidate will be located in the Kansas City area, but they can also be located in California or Texas.
DutiesAnd Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop inside and outside sales teams to achieve regional revenue and lead‑generation goals.
- Establish and communicate sales objectives, policies, and performance expectations aligned with company strategy.
- Assign accounts, evaluate customer potential, and recommend market‑share and growth strategies.
- Travel throughout the territory as needed to support customer engagement, product support, and sales activities.
- Partner with Marketing and other RSMs on trade shows, seminars, promotional campaigns, and sales tools.
- Provide regular updates to the Business Unit Leader on sales results, regional performance trends, risks, and improvement plans.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Vendors to coordinate sales training and support product launches.
- Develop the annual sales forecast for assigned accounts; monitor and report against plan, analyzing deviations and proposing corrective actions.
- Oversee effective pre‑call planning, post‑call reporting, and sales‑activity documentation.
- Ensure adherence to all safety, quality, and operating procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required;
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred. - Proven sales leadership experience with a track record of achieving growth targets; experience in business management a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word; strong overall computer aptitude.
- Self‑driven, results‑oriented, and committed to high‑quality outcomes.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to set priorities, work independently, and act with minimal supervision.
- Ability to consistently follow established safety, quality, and efficiency procedures.
