This role partners cross-functionally with corporate and field teams to optimize labor strategies, improve operational processes, and support the successful rollout of projects, pilots, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities Develop and maintain labor models, staffing guides, forecasting tools, and workforce planning resources to support store operations
Analyze labor performance, productivity, sales trends, and workforce metrics to identify opportunities, risks, and actionable recommendations
Partner with field leadership to optimize staffing levels, scheduling practices, and workforce utilization
Evaluate retail processes, including labor management, service execution, inventory flow, and merchandising, to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
Lead continuous improvement initiatives that simplify operations, reduce workload friction, and improve consistency across stores
Partner with field leadership to pilot process changes, measure results, and support successful rollouts
Manage operational and workforce-related projects end-to-end, including timelines, milestones, risks, deliverables, and follow-up actions
Serve as a cross-functional partner between Operations, HR, Finance, Talent Acquisition, and Field Leadership to communicate updates, resolve issues, and support key initiatives
Skills and KnowledgeA collaborative spirit and the confidence to take ownership of projects from start to finish, Analytical mindset and critical thinking skills, Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and experience Microsoft Excel, Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, Strong organization and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities, Strong writing, editing, and visual communication skills
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Human Resources, Analytics, Finance, or a related field preferred2-5 years of experience in workforce management, labor planning, retail operations, or a related field
Experience with workforce management and scheduling platforms preferred
Physical Requirements Ability to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other standard office equipment
Able to clearly view and read information on a computer screen
Occasionally lift or move items up to 15 pounds
Location
On-site in Lenexa, KSPay Range $60,000.00 - $75,000.00
