Job: Entry-Level Field Engineer - GBA Builders

GBA Builders, LLC currently offers construction management services to clients in the Life Sciences Industry. We work closely with our parent company, GBA, Inc. in a design-build relationship to add value to our clients.

We are looking for a candidate to assist with design-build projects. A successful candidate will be a team player who is self-motivated and willing to jump in and assist where needed, adding value by offering thoughtful solutions and project efficiencies.

What You'll Do:

• Be a team player on design-build projects - work with architects, engineers, owners, subs, etc.
• Estimating assistance - quantity takeoff, perform subcontractor pricing reviews / verifications.
• Assist project superintendent with day to day activities such as drawing coordination, safety reports, daily logs and reports, progress photos, quality assurance and site communication and coordination.
• Assist with coordination of subcontractors on site
• Quality control assistance
• Assist with schedule evaluations and updates
• Assist with site logistics planning and coordination
• Interact with clients and design team as needed to resolve issues and expedite the work
• Assist with project bidding and buyout
• Assist with project budget management
• Safety assistance while on job sites
• Other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring:

• Degree in construction management / construction science.
• Hands on construction experience / internships is preferred
• Partnership approach to working with architects and engineers
• MS Office Suite knowledge and excellent computer skills
• Proficient in MS Project
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to be a team player
• Self-motivation and time management skills
• 100% Travel.
