The Project Engineer plays a key role in supporting the successful execution of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

• Assist Project Managers with the planning and execution of commercial construction projects.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, meeting minutes, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain project progress.
• Track procurement of materials and long‑lead items to support project schedules.
• Monitor project budgets, cost reports, and subcontractor commitments.
• Assist with project scheduling and identify potential risks or delays.
• Participate in project meetings and communicate action items to the project team.
• Support quality control and ensure work complies with contract documents and company standards.
• Help facilitate project closeout, including punch lists, as‑built drawings, warranties, and final documentation.
• Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with all company and OSHA safety requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience supporting commercial construction projects.
• Understanding of construction methods, project scheduling, contracts, and building systems.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar construction management software preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

• Commercial construction experience in healthcare, multifamily, mixed‑use, municipal, or office projects.
• Knowledge of design‑build or construction management delivery methods.
• OSHA 30 certification is a plus.

• Primarily local projects with no overnight travel required.
• Diverse portfolio of projects across varying sizes, scopes, and ownership groups.
• Base salary ranging from $80k-$120k base (DOE) + bonus.
