Job Summary
Senior Electrical Estimator – Full Time – Lenexa, KS
Responsibilities- Review architectural, structural, civil, MEP, and other construction drawings, specifications, and addenda to fully understand project scope.
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for all divisions.
- Overall planning and coordinating efforts to produce comprehensive project cost estimates.
- Determine contractor and labor needs, calculate project estimates.
- Obtain, track, and negotiate subcontract bids and project budgets.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical construction projects, lead estimating teams, and collaborate with stakeholders to secure competitive bids.
- Support design‑build and commercial/industrial projects including constructability reviews.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and estimating tools (Accubid preferred).
- Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills.
- Experience in heavy civil mass excavation and self‑performance of mass earthwork.
