The Role

We are seeking a smart and energetic Client Support Coordinator with an agile and solution-focused approach to join our team in Lenexa, Kansas. The successful candidate will pair their spark, charm, and empathy with a responsive and professional demeanor to offer exceptional service to our customers (bridal retail stores) domestically and internationally. This person will apply their passion for customers, exemplary organizational skills and attention to detail to support our stores and manage key client requests through to resolution.

They may also assist with special projects, customer events and ad hoc needs as well as collaborate with other functional areas.

Responsibilities
  • Autonomously provide exemplary support and foster strong, on‑going relationships with our customers.
  • Maintain a flexible, professional demeanor at all times to ensure Essense is an industry leader in Client experience.
  • Work closely and efficiently to ensure Essense is an industry leader in customer experience across the globe to provide the best solutions to meet our customer’s needs.
  • Accurately enter and update customer requests in multiple tools across an array of technology mediums.
  • Become well‑versed in Essense Designs products and services.
  • Troubleshoot Client issues and present solutions in a timely manner.
  • Meet with customers in person and virtually at applicable events and markets.
  • Assist with specialized projects as well as manage time sensitive and escalated customer experience issues.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in customer service, customer support or account management in a retail, fashion or fast‑paced environment.
  • Knowledge of garment construction and fabrics is preferred.
  • 3+ years of customer service‑oriented experience required; business‑to‑business customer service is a plus.
  • Highly motivated, goal‑driven problem solver that promotes and exemplifies the importance of innovation and growth.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred;
    Equivalent relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills (vocabulary, diction, and the ability to express thoughts clearly and concisely) and a warm, welcoming phone approach.
  • Passion for creating an amazing customer experience.
  • Ability to calmly and smoothly negotiate changes, variables and areas of ambiguity.
  • Natural flair for conversation paired with the ability to listen closely and a flexible attitude with a caring, empathetic approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce) is highly preferred.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work outside of standard business hours.
