The Landscape Architecture and Planning team is looking for motivated individuals who are interested in learning new skills to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on meaningful design on a variety of public and private projects.

The 2025 studio portfolio includes parks and recreation, aquatics, community planning, green stormwater solutions, streetscape design, and large-scale development projects, with work focused in the Midwest (Kansas City, St. Louis, and Austin).

You will be integrated into a studio environment alongside architects, engineers, and surveyors where you will be involved in planning, design, and construction observation. This opportunity is available in the Lenexa, KS office. We encourage driven and creative individuals to apply today.

• Support site development projects by preparing landscape plans and construction documents under the direction of senior staff.
• Assist with site layout, planting and hardscape design, landscape calculations, and coordination with civil engineering plans.
• Prepare CAD-based drawings, respond to jurisdictional comments, and support entitlement and construction-phase activities.
• Understand site development processes, landscape codes, and construction documentation with strong attention to detail and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary engineering team.

• Entry level to 5+ years of professional office experience.
• BLA and/or MLA in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university program.
• Experience in Civil3D, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino and Enscape is preferred.
• Detail oriented with interest in working through various phases of the design process from planning and 3D graphics to design and construction detailing.

• Ability to sit or stand at a desk for extended periods.
• Ability to look at a computer screen for extended periods.
