Job Summary:
Our client is local to Kansas City, MO and is a full-service architecture firm providing innovative design solutions for the real world; specializing in the retail, mixed-use, office, restaurant and hospitality markets. The Project Manager is responsible for exercising independent judgment in evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques.
- Bachelor s or Master s Degree in Architecture required.
- 8-12+ years of professional experience.
- Architectural license preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of design, trends, construction methodology, material application, and manufacturer-supplier appropriateness.
- Experience in relative project types preferred but not required.
- Advanced knowledge of architectural building systems.
- Advanced knowledge of building codes and ability to research and apply/incorporate into technical documents.
- Proficiency in Revit required.
- Leads team in planning work and developing solutions to technical and design detail problems
- Establish, maintain, and adhere to project budget and schedule.
- Prepares client presentations and presents design concepts and drawings.
- Ensures that construction detail documentation conforms to quality assurance and best practice standards.
- Communicates with client representatives to verify design requirements and specifications, progress reviews and delivery of final presentation.
- Mentors and directs the work of less experienced staff and professionals.
- Negotiable depending upon experience.
