Design Administrator

Overview

Join Karntek as a Design Administrator and play a key role in supporting the delivery of projects that help make buildings safer. You will produce and maintain accurate CAD drawings and technical documentation that underpin our fire safety consultancy services. As a Design Administrator, you will be responsible for producing and maintaining accurate technical drawings and documentation that support the successful delivery of our projects. You will work closely with surveyors and project teams to ensure drawings are up to date, well organised, and maintained in line with company standards.

• Produce, amend, and maintain CAD drawings.
• Update drawings following site surveys and technical reports.
• Maintain drawing registers, templates, and revision control.
• Ensure drawings and technical documentation are accurate, organised, and compliant with company standards.
• Support surveyors and project teams with technical drawing requirements.
• Face-to-face and telephony customer experience.
• Help maintain and improve company CAD standards and processes.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience using Bluebeam
• Experience producing and maintaining technical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.

It would also be beneficial if you have:

• Experience with in the construction, engineering, or fire safety sector.
• Knowledge of document control and drawing management processes.
• A relevant technical qualification.
