Advent Health Shawnee Mission, located in suburban Kansas City, is seeking a dynamic, fellowship-trained Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician to join our top-rated Birthing Center and Women’s Health Program. • Grow & Shape a Program: Take an active role in developing a thriving, forward-looking MFM service line with the full support of leadership and colleagues.
• Collaborative Team Environment: Work alongside a dedicated team of obstetricians, hospitalists, genetic counselors, and specialists who share a commitment to excellence in women’s health.
• Focused Practice: Provide consultations and advanced care for high-risk pregnancies without the requirement to perform deliveries.
• Robust Support Services: Genetic counselor available on-site two days per week, plus access to Advent Health’s integrated regional network.

• 5-day workweek, Monday–Friday schedule
• Responsibilities include inpatient consultations, antepartum rounding, and virtual consults
• No ER coverage required
• Average of 20 patients daily, including ultrasounds
• Perform amniocentesis and, in the future, cyst aspirations
• Generous time off plan and CME support

• Board Certification/Eligibility in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (ABOG)
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with physicians, staff, and patients
