Campus Staff Minister III – South Florida (Undergraduate Ministry)

We are looking for a Campus Staff Minister (CSM) to lead and develop students and faculty ministry on campus, building communities of believers and engaging all ethnic and social groups.

ESSENTIAL COMMITMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES Spiritual Growth
  • Pursue a vibrant relationship with the triune God through engagement with Scripture, prayer, and worship.
  • Develop self‑leadership: grow in self‑awareness, self‑management, relational integrity, and resiliency.
  • Embrace Scriptural standards for behavior and attitudes.
Campus Leadership
  • Communicate and model Inter Varsity’s vision to transform students, faculty, and campuses.
  • Create a culture of humble dependence on God and bold expectation in God’s intention to start new witnessing communities.
  • Lead students and faculty through Scripture, prayer, teaching, and discipleship experiences.
  • Set annual goals through prayer, research, and reflection with teams (students, faculty, staff).
  • Create and leverage ministry plans, programs, teams, and structures to achieve goals.
  • Mobilize students and faculty to engage relational networks with the gospel and start new missional communities.
  • Supervise ministry interns and campus ministry interns as delegated.
Organizational Collaboration
  • Work with a network of local, area, regional, and national Inter Varsity staff and volunteers.
  • Respond positively to direction and coaching of supervisors and national leaders.
  • Contribute to collaborative team meetings and relationships.
  • Affiliate chapters under your care and submit graduating student forms.
  • Use national ministry resources and tools, including recruiting and participating in conferences as required.
  • Complete reporting, planning, and review requirements in a timely way.
  • Comply with all Inter Varsity policies and procedures.
Ministry Partnership Development
  • Develop a team of partners – churches and individuals – who will resource the ministry financially, in prayer, or volunteer service.
  • Raise 100% of the financial budget assigned by your supervisor.
  • Communicate regularly with ministry partners, nurturing relationships through visits, phone calls, emails, and prayer letters.
  • Develop long‑lasting partnerships with alumni and volunteers.
  • Identify and invest in advocates who can build networks of volunteers and donors on Inter Varsity’s behalf.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Affirm Inter Varsity’s Statement of Agreement (Doctrinal Basis and Purpose Statement).
  • Abide by Inter Varsity’s Code of Conduct and Human Sexuality Theological Paper.
  • Affirm Inter Varsity’s Women in Ministry Statement of Affiliation.
  • Bachelor’s degree required for four‑year campus assignments;
    Associate’s degree required for two‑year or community college.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to minister to diverse ethnic communities and faculty.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem‑solving skills.
  • Familiarity with word processing, presentation, email, and spreadsheet software.
WORK ENVIRONMENT &

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Travel to on‑campus and off‑campus sites including conferences and training sessions; use standard office equipment.

PAY & BENEFITS

Pay Range: $49,296 – $65,724 per year, dependent on ability to raise funds.
