To deliver high-quality, standards-aligned math instruction in a 100% virtual environment, the full-time Iowa Licensed Secondary Math Teacher will manage online curriculum implementation, facilitate live and asynchronous sessions, and monitor student performance data to provide individualized support.
Key responsibilities- Deliver core secondary mathematics instruction using both synchronous and asynchronous teaching methods while ensuring alignment with Iowa Core Mathematics Standards
- Regularly analyze student performance data to implement proactive interventions for those struggling with mathematical concepts
- Maintain clear communication with students, parents, and learning coaches, while participating in professional development to enhance online teaching practices
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field
- Valid Iowa Board of Educational Examiners teaching license with a grades 5-12 Mathematics endorsement
- Minimum of two years of successful teaching experience, preferably in a secondary setting
- Experience using Google Workspace suite in a professional or academic setting
- Access to a private, secure, high-speed internet connection with specified minimum speeds
