Position

Summary

PCG is seeking a Senior Talent Specialist to join our Strategic Development team in Lenexa, KS at our corporate headquarters. This role is primarily focused on curriculum development, instructional design, and learning program support for PCG employees across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

As part of the Strategic Development team, this role helps shape and drive a learning culture at PCG by researching, developing, and producing effective educational programs, resources, and learning experiences. The Senior Talent Specialist will partner with subject matter experts, event owners, business leaders, and internal stakeholders to identify learning needs, develop curriculum strategies, and create instructor‑led, virtual, digital, and blended learning solutions that support business goals and employee growth.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify training needs and learning solutions.
  • Assess business situations and develop learning objectives and curriculum strategies.
  • Design and develop effective learning programs using instructional design and adult learning principles.
  • Create engaging content for instructor‑led, virtual, eLearning, blended learning, job aids, leader guides, session materials, reinforcement, and assessment.
  • Organize complex information into professionally designed learning programs.
  • Maintain curriculum materials that align with educational goals and organizational needs.
  • Proofread, edit, and refine educational materials for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and coherence.
  • Evaluate existing educational offerings and recommend improvements.
  • Support the full learning lifecycle, including needs analysis, design, development, delivery support, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
  • Use learning technologies and tools to create, publish, and maintain learning content.
  • Manage learning projects, timelines, and deliverables with minimal supervision.
  • Work closely with the Strategic Development team to support a unified learning experience strategy.

Basic Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience editing, writing, designing, and developing instructional materials.
  • At least 5 years of experience in courseware, curriculum, training, or technical documentation development and design.
  • Experience managing course or curriculum development projects from end to end.
  • Ability to manage the full learning lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design, adult learning principles, and curriculum development practices.
  • Ability to assess business needs and translate them into effective learning goals, objectives, and strategies.
