Overview
The Small Engine Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing small engines used in outdoor power equipment, such as lawnmowers, chainsaws, and snow blowers. This role includes diagnosing mechanical issues, performing routine service, and providing support to customers both in person and through remote or virtual consultations. The technician advises customers on necessary repairs or maintenance, ensures that equipment operates according to manufacturer specifications, and maintains detailed service documentation to support both in-shop and virtual service interactions.
Candidates must have a modern smartphone with an active internet connection to efficiently manage orders and assignments through the company app. Proficiency in navigating mobile applications, digital platforms, and app-based workflows is essential for seamless task execution and communication.
Compensation ranges from $37,440 to $62,400 per year, based on experience and availability.
