SummaryElectrical Engineers and Electrical Designers are responsible for the design, coordination, documentation, and delivery of electrical building systems for our Mission Critical Data Center practice. Depending on experience level, individuals may perform engineering calculations, prepare and review design documents, coordinate with project teams, manage tasks or projects, provide technical leadership, mentor others, and support business development activities. All team members are expected to uphold a client‑centric mindset, demonstrate quality and integrity, and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and continuously learning environment.

- Prepare design documents under the supervision of experienced engineering and design staff.
- Support the review of shop drawings for conformance to plans and specifications.
- Assist with engineering calculations as directed.
- May support business development or pursuit activities under direct supervision.
- Occasionally participate in client, company and/or industry events.
- Foster a client‑centric mindset and approach.
- Partner with experienced engineering and design staff to understand client requirements and scope of work.
- Act as a liaison to inform engineering and design teams of client and architect questions and relay responses.
- May visit job sites for observation and learning and development opportunities.
- Identify and seek to fill gaps in industry and/or discipline knowledge on a continuous basis.
- Acquire knowledge and fundamentals of common industry software, including Revit, Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office products.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam preferred.
- Relevant internship experience preferred.
- Exposure to engineering design fundamentals; fundamental knowledge of the A&E industry, codes, design guides, and standards.
- Familiarity with Revit and Bluebeam Revu preferred.
- Data Center experience is strongly preferred.
