Position Overview: As a Scheduler you will play a key role in planning and scheduling activities on a variety of Nuclear and DOE projects. This hands-on role will give you the opportunity to directly impact the scheduling outcome over a broad range of projects in various stages of development and progress. Your role will be essential to our operations, ensuring that your contributions are valued and impactful within Kiewit Nuclear Solutions Northwest region.

Responsibilities- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, designers, procurement staff, construction managers, subcontractors, and project services personnel to develop comprehensive project schedules from conceptual planning through design, construction, and operational startup.
- Utilize engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) terminology and methodologies to create and maintain critical path logic networks; leverage historical data to support realistic planning and forecasting.
- Ensure all scheduling activities comply with site-specific certified Earned Value Management System (EVMS) standards.
- Conduct data analysis to identify scheduling issues and implement corrective actions and recommendations.
- Gather and validate schedule inputs across all disciplines and functions.
- Coordinate with all departments to ensure alignment and understanding of total project schedule requirements.
- Oversee the integration of all schedule activities into a unified project timeline.
- Manage and implement change control processes as necessary to maintain schedule integrity.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent technical training and experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction scheduling.
- Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 scheduling software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- U.S. Citizenship required to obtain facility-specific security clearance.

- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and with minimal supervision.
- Skilled in presenting schedule briefings to senior leadership.
- Flexible and responsive to urgent proposal/project requests and shifting priorities.
- Proven ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.

- Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment
- Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
- Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
