Inovair (industrial products division of Accessible Technologies, Inc.) is seeking a hands‑on Controls Systems Engineer with the experience to develop new products with a focus in electrical system design and testing. This position will work primarily on Inovair's leading municipal wastewater and aircraft ground support product lines, but will also address other emerging applications markets as needed.
Inovair is the worldwide leading manufacturer of blowers and compressors for the aircraft ground support market, and the manufacturer of the only high efficiency blower packages made in the USA and compliant for Buy America Build American (BABA) federal funding. Inovair is the industrial products division of Accessible Technologies, Inc. and was founded in 1994 to expand the application of high efficiency geared centrifugal blower technology within forced induction, aerospace, municipal and industrial applications.

Primary responsibilities include designing and testing electrical systems to cover our entire product offering with documentation for production rollout of new products, including composition of customer installation manuals and in‑house assembly instructions. This individual will be responsible for maintaining quality control of products utilizing our Enterprise system, including management of engineering change orders and corrective action reports, as well as detailed workplans.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent 4‑year technical degree
- 5+ years experience as a control system design engineer
- Strong competency in Allen Bradley Studio
5000 or equivalent PLC programming experience - Experience with LabVIEW, Factory Talk View, Ignition, and CCW.
- Strong competency in prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting electro‑mechanical systems
- Experience with layout/design of electrical systems including control panels and associated programming.
- Hands on experience with low voltage power (480V) and corresponding safety practices
- Test cell development/operation/support
- Technical writing skills
- Efficient with Microsoft Office software package
- Highly resourceful, organized and innovative
- Dedicated to keeping projects moving forward and adhering to project schedules, through project completion
- Able to clearly communicate ideas and concepts
- Successful working within interdisciplinary team(s)
- Experience with Solid Works design software
- Knowledgeable of National Electric Code and UL508A requirements
- Significant electrical aptitude and knowledge of acceptable practices and technique
