Position Overview
Are you looking for an opportunity to be a part of a new, emerging nuclear market? Our nuclear safety culture is strong at Kiewit Nuclear Solutions. As a Quality Engineer, you will report directly to the Quality Manager, and will administer the Project Quality Plan. In this role, you will be responsible for assuring that the quality program is implemented throughout the project.
You will assist in coordinating the Project Quality Plan activities associated with one or functions in engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and operations for construction projects.

Multiple locations will be considered:
Lenexa, KS, Aiken, SC, Houston, TX, Denver, CO, & Oak Ridge, TN. This position may be located on an active construction site. This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities
* Maintain a comprehensive understanding of company standards, policies, and guidelines.
* Communicate client critique results and quality feedback to employees in a clear and timely manner.
* Initiate, implement, track, and close Corrective Action Reports (CARs).
* Facilitate Root Cause and Apparent Cause Analyses to identify systemic issues and preventive actions.
* Plan and conduct quality assessments to evaluate compliance and performance.
* Maintain strong knowledge of District Quality Manuals and project-specific quality requirements.
* Proactively identify and mitigate potential quality incidents before they occur.
* Participate in all project activities, providing quality assurance input and constructive feedback.
* Support the planning and execution of internal quality audits and surveillances, including:
* Reviewing required documentation and support materials
* Interviewing project staff
* Administering and evaluating online audit questionnaires to assess procedural compliance
